Making Out (2016) follows Charlie, a dedicated screenwriter striving to support himself by churning out numerous scripts, and Erin, an aspiring actress navigating the worlds of film and theater in pursuit of success and self-discovery. Their paths cross serendipitously on a film set, leading to an unlikely friendship. Together, they commiserate about the challenges of romance in their lives. In a whimsical attempt to create the ultimate romantic experience, Charlie and Erin devise a plan to script their dates, incorporating all the classic romantic tropes they've ever dreamed of. However, their meticulously planned romantic gestures don't always unfold as expected. As they continue to act out their perfect love story, they begin to question whether their pretend romance might be blossoming into something genuine.
