Battleground (2011) unfolds as the Vietnam War concludes and American soldiers return home, bringing a sense of peace and relief. Yet, in the dense forests of North Michigan, an unsettling presence lingers. A troubled war veteran, driven by a single, deadly purpose, remains hidden. When six hardened criminals, fleeing with three million dollars after a massive bank heist, cross paths with him, their fate takes a chilling turn. Will they find solace in the confines of a prison cell, or will they face the relentless wrath of the veteran who seeks vengeance?
